Good leadership deserves a reward. The Postal Customer Council® Leadership Awards Program recognizes outstanding performance in various categories of PCC leadership.

2013 PCC Leadership Awards Program categories…

  • PCC Industry Member of the Year (1 award - prior year winner not eligible)
  • PCC Postal Service Member of the Year (1 award - prior year winner not eligible)
  • PCC District Manager of the Year (1 award - prior year winner not eligible) 
  • PCC of the Year (1 award - prior year winner not eligible)
  • PCC of the Year (less than 500,000 in population and Level 24 Post Office) (1 award - prior year winner not eligible)
  • PCC Innovation of the Year (1 award)
  • Communication Program Excellence Award (3 awards: Gold, Silver, Bronze)
  • Education Program Excellence Award (3 awards: Gold, Silver, Bronze)

To be considered for an award, you must self-nominate. Some key items to include in your nomination are…

  • Creativity, originality, and membership involvement
  • Positive impact on membership growth
  • Effective communications with membership using various channels
  • Positive impact on PCC operations
  • Programs conducted to educate business mailers on postal products, services, procedures, and policies to help them grow their business
  • Increasing value of PCC membership through educational and networking opportunities

2013 Premier PCC Program

The Premier PCC Program provides a set of national standards for PCC excellence and address the PCC Network’s core growth strategy: to “implement and leverage network best practices to create business growth opportunities for PCC members and the U.S. Postal Service®.”

Based on these national standards, PCCs will be recognized as performing at a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Level.

Prestigious Platinum Award recognizes PCCs that have achieved Gold Level for five consecutive years, including 2013. Self-nomination is not required for this award.

PCCs should self-nominate for Premier Program recognition. Those who submit validated nominations will be recognized at local PCC events during National PCC Week.
