WHO: Publisher Inquiry Services, Inc. WHAT: Since 1981, Publisher Inquiry Services, Inc. has provided more than 100 million catalog requests to thousands of catalog companies. The catalog request company publishes and mails various types of catalog directories to catalog consumers who can request the catalog of their choice. In order to draw additional attention to one of its catalog directory mailings, Publisher Inquiry Services decided to use a Repositionable Note (RPN). The primary objective of the mailing was to increase the response rate among customers. “The RPN proved to be a successful marketing tool for our catalog customers,” remarked Ed Buckwald. “Anytime we can make our customers happy, we are happy.” RESULTS: The RPN enabled Publisher Inquiry Services to increase its direct mail response rate by 8%. |
