WHO: Hurt Companies, LLC
WHAT: Hurt Companies, LLC, a printing and mail marketing management services company based in Louisville, Kentucky, decided to use a Repositionable Note (RPN) in one of their direct mail pieces to approach prospective customers with a special offer of $50 off of their first printing or mailing project. The primary objective was to find a unique way to drive new business to the 36-year old company.
The mailing was designed as a 6x9 four-color postcard with an RPN coupon offer of a 10% discount. The one-time only mailing was sent to a carefully crafted prospect list of more than 3,000 marketing managers from diverse industries in the Louisville area.
“This was a cost-effective way in which to promote our services, and so far, the return on our investment has been encouraging,” said Donna Rae Hollis, direct mail manager for Hurt Companies.
RESULTS: To date, Hurt Companies has received 3 RFQs that can be traced back to the RPN postcard mailing. This was an open-ended coupon offer, so results information continues to be gathered.
