WHO: Central File, Inc.
WHAT: Central File, Inc., a direct mail marketing company based in Wisconsin, recommended that its client, AAA Rentals, use a Repositionable Note (RPN) in a direct mail effort to obtain new rental agreements for various electronics, appliances, home entertainment, and furniture. The “Show Me the Money” promotion targeted more than 60,000 preferred and prospective customers.
The actual mail piece – a #10 window envelope with a personalized Post-It Note, or RPN, attached to it – featured a $100 coupon offer as an added incentive to customers.
“During the past few months, we’ve coordinated more than 12 RPN mailings,” said Alan Benson, national account executive, Central File, Inc. “We’ve found that personalized RPNs, in particular, have a good shelf life and yield higher response rates.”
RESULTS: To date, approximately 600 customers have responded to the mailing. Results are being measured in terms of the volume of store customers, number of coupons redeemed and amount of telephone calls logged.
