We will:

  • Ensure a continuous focus. To that end, the National Diversity Leadership Committee-consisting of officers and executives from broad functional sectors-meets quarterly/semi-annually to review the progress being made toward meeting objectives of the Supplier Diversity Corporate Plan.
  • Conduct quarterly senior management meetings. The Vice President and Senior Managers of Supply Management meet quarterly to review supply strategies to ensure the Postal ServiceTM is taking full advantage of the capabilities, competitive pricing, new processes and products, and innovations offered by small, minority-owned and women-owned businesses (SMWOBs).
  • Task the Supplier Diversity team with continually assessing supplier diversity business process applications. The team provides updates and briefings on best practices while also serving as an information source to the SMWOB business community.
