MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. Applications for the Management Intern Program for 2003 will be accepted starting Nov. 8. The program is designed to fill targeted operational positions that are critical to the future of the Postal Service. The program graduated 22 interns this year.
Successful candidates enter the program at the EAS-19 level, with outplacement targeted after two years as an EAS-21 in a field operations position. Information and applications will be online at www.usps.com/employment.
The program is open to internal and external applicants. To be considered for the program, candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens; have a master's degree in business administration, management, finance, logistics, supply-chain management/operations or engineering from an accredited graduate school by June 1, 2003; and complete an online screening process.
