THERE'S STILL TIME TO MAIL THOSE HOLIDAY CARDS AND GIFTS

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Procrastinators rejoice! There's still time to get your holiday cards and gifts in the mail--but barely. The clock is ticking, but the Postal Service will deliver.

This year, personal messages of holiday greeting mean more than ever, and you don't want to forget anyone on your list. A simple card can mean so much to a family member or a friend.

Priority Mail parcels mailed tomorrow should reach their destination by Monday. It's the best value for quick, reliable service.

For those last-minute shoppers really pushing the envelope, there is Express Mail. Get your cards or packages to us by Saturday and they are sure to make it in time to be put under the tree. Some areas of the country will even have Express Mail delivery on Christmas Day for parcels delivered locally. Check with your postmaster to see if it is available in your town.

Need help with addressing or packing tips? Go to usps.com for the answers. Our popular ZIP-Code lookup feature will help you help us get your mail on its way with proper addressing.

Still can't make it in time? Why not send a New Year's greeting? Friends and family will appreciate hearing from you anytime. And we'll get it there every time.

For 226 years, the United States Postal Service has been delivering the holidays, binding friends, families and neighbors together. It is an independent federal agency that handles 46 percent of the world's mail volume, with annual revenues of $65 billion. The Postal Service is not funded with taxpayer dollars, but derives its revenues solely from the sale of postage and other products and services it provides. Its unrivaled service network means the Postal Service can delivery holiday gifts and cards to 135 million addresses, with some of the most affordable postage rates in the world.
