U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors to Meet in Washington, DC, December 3-4, 2001

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Board of Governors of the U.S. Postal Service will conduct its monthly meeting in Washington, DC, at Postal Service headquarters located at 475 L'Enfant Plaza, SW, on Monday and Tuesday, December 3-4, 2001.

While the Monday meeting is in closed session, the public may attend Tuesday's session from an observational perspective only.

Tuesday's open session is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Ben Franklin Room on the 11th floor. The Board expects to discuss the matters listed in the agenda below.

Tuesday Session, December 4, 2001 at 8:30 a.m. (open)
  1. Minutes of the previous meetings, November 5-6, and November 13 and 15, 2001.
  2. Remarks of the Postmaster General/Chief Executive Officer.
  3. Fiscal year 2001 audited financial statements.

  4. Final fiscal year 2003 appropriation request.
