Maine National PCC Day Educational Seminar

The Maine Postal Customer Councils will host a complimentary half-day seminar for business mailers on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 at the U.S. Postal Service® Distribution Facility, 79 Postal Service Way, Scarborough, Maine. Pre-registration check-in starts at 8:30 a.m., and the first session starts at 9 a.m. Seminar will include sessions on Intelligent Mail and a panel discussion on Value of Direct Mail featuring mailing experts from the postal service and industry.

Participants will also hear the live National PCC Day address from Postmaster General Jack Potter, meet key postal service staff and network with other business mailers. All business mailers, regardless of size, are invited to attend. Complimentary continental breakfast and light lunch included. An optional tour of the Postal Service Distribution facility will be available for interested parties after seminar ends at 1 p.m. (enclosed footwear required, heels 1.5” max.). Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

South Suburban National PCC Day Educational Symposium

The South Suburban PCC will hold its National PCC symposium on September 19th 2007; pre-registration begins at 7:00am, with our first educational session beginning at 7:30am. Cost for this event is $49.00 and will be held at the Medinah Banquets, 550 Shriner’s Drive located in Addison IL.

Don’t be left behind, the Winds of Change are blowing in the Mailing Industry! The May 14th Rate Case, Postal Reform and Shape-Based Pricing are major changes that affect every mailer. We are hosting an action-packed one day event that promises to help get you up to speed on these and other issues related to the United States Postal Service.

Hear the live National PCC Day address from Postmaster General Jack Potter. Our Keynote Speaker is Patrick R. Donahoe, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Postmaster General of the US Postal Service. In addition, you will have the opportunity to earn a Mail Technology & Addressing Certificate.

Washington DC National PCC Day Vendor Show and Mail Symposium

The Washington Metropolitan Postal Customer Council is planning a full day of education, opportunity and networking on National PCC Day, September 19, 2007 at Martin’s Crosswinds, located at 7400 Greenway Center Drive in Greenbelt, MD. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. In addition to having a direct feed of PMG Jack Potter at the National PCC event in Columbus, OH, we will present several educational sessions on important postal issues. If that isn’t enough, there will also be a Vendor Show to preview all the latest and greatest that the suppliers have to offer. Cost for the event is $75 for WMPCC members, and $85 for non-members. National PCC Day, Southern Nevada Mail Expo

The Southern Nevada PCC welcomes you to our National PCC Day Vendor/Seminar event! It will be held September 19 from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm at The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. South Suburban Postal Customer Council Fall Breakfast Seminar

The South Suburban PCC will host its fall breakfast education seminar on November 1st 2007; pre-registration begins at 7:30am. Cost for this event is $35.00 and will be held at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge.

Join us for a morning filled with educational opportunities and networking. Our featured sessions include; Addressing for Automation, this session is directed at your bottom-line. You will walk away understanding the fundamentals that are critical to a quality mailing for smarter automation discounts.

Mail Characteristics….Letter or Flat- do you know the difference? This session is intended to guide the audience in understanding the difference between a letter-sized mail-piece and a flat and, how understanding the differences will add value to your bottom line as the U.S. Postal Service becomes more and more shape-based conscious.

This session will provide insight and helpful tips for making the most of the 2007 Rate Case.
