DISMISSAL

On February 20, 2002, an earlier Petition filed by Ms. Hayes (P. S. Docket No. DCA 01-350) was dismissed on the basis that the Petition was incomplete.  Respondent had filed a motion to that effect and Petitioner filed no reply and did not complete the Petition.  Various Orders and other documents in the case were sent to Petitioner by certified mail and all were returned unclaimed.  Some documents were also sent to Petitioner by regular mail.  All mailings were sent to the address provided by Ms. Hayes in her Petition.

The current Petitions are also incomplete and Respondent again filed a motion to dismiss.  By Order dated April 2, 2002, Petitioner was given an opportunity to provide the missing information by April 16, 2002.  There has been no reply, nor is there any record to show that Petitioner picked up the mail sent to her in connection with this case.

All mailings in this case were addressed to Petitioner at the address she provided in her Petition.  As was stated in the Dismissal of the earlier case, It is Petitioner's responsibility to accept official mail sent to her in connection with this case when it is sent to the address she provided.  Failure to accept such mail does not excuse her failure to make timely filings.[1]

Accordingly, Respondent's motion is granted and these cases are dismissed.
