FINAL DECISION UNDER THE DEBT COLLECTION ACT OF 1982

            The Petition in this case was docketed on February 3, 1997.  A Notice of Docketing was sent to Respondent on February 4, 1997, stating that an Answer was due within 15 days.  No Answer was filed and, on February 27, 1997 an Order was issued stating that, if Respondent intended to contest this matter, an Answer must be received in this office by March 10, 1997.  The Order further stated that if no Answer, or other appropriate pleading, was received by that date, the Petition would be granted without further notice. 

            Nothing has been received from Respondent.  Accordingly, the Petition is granted.  Respondent may not collect $132.80 from Petitioner's salary.
