
Louise Nevelson
Louise Nevelson (1899-1988) was one of the most gifted sculptors of the 20th century. She introduced a new form of sculpture that consisted of carved, recycled and painted wood objects arranged in boxes to create entire sculptural walls. During her 50-year career, she produced an impressive and influential body of work.
