High praise

It was a proud moment for postal employees when President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore praised the Postal Service for its environmental contributions at a Presidential Forum this summer. Noted were USPS expansion of home/cluster box mail delivery and replacement of diesel-powered trucks with clean-burning compressed natural gas vehicles. Gore called the Postal Service "part of the solution" to America's environmental problems.
