SALES MANAGER, BUSINESS PARTNERS
|
The United States Postal Service has the following excellent and
challenging employment opportunity for highly motivated and innovative
individuals to work in our SALES office in CAROL STREAM, IL or BLOOMINGDALE, IL.
Successful candidates must
demonstrate through a combination of education, training, and experience
the following requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to manage sales management and account management processes and new business sales policies, programs, and procedures at a level sufficient to develop and implement account sales strategies and tactics to achieve business expectations.
- Knowledge of sales management and account management policies, programs and procedures at a level sufficient to manage their development and implementation through a well-defined sales management process to grow and retain existing revenue and develop new business opportunities.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in order to manage a diverse team of business partner account managers in a territory or team-based environment; ability to manage the work of others, including organizing and assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance and feedback.
- Ability to develop, establish, and monitor account revenue plans and forecasts; ability to use customer management data and information to initiate specific actions targeted at improving performance in a territory or team-based environment.
- Ability to coordinate and oversee the development and implementation of planning and strategies ensuring operations integration.
- Ability to manage the work of others including a group of remotely located business partner account managers, including organizing and assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance and feedback; ability to use customer management data and information to initiate specific actions targeted at improving performance results in a sales team environment.
- Ability to manage the data integrity of account management systems and performs weekly plan and review sessions, monthly account reviews and quarterly territory reviews.
- Ability to recruit, hire, and develop sales resources through coaching, and mentoring for performance improvements; ability to recognize and reward both personal and team achievements.

NOTE(S):
The Business Partner sales manager will manage the deployment of sales strategies within a territory worth a minimum of $1.1billion dollars. The business partner sales manager will manage a team of business partner account managers to achieve revenue growth and strategic development within business partner accounts.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in commercial, business to business, sales management with large businesses and organizations”.

The salary range is $60,913 - $105,088. Salary will be based on previous
experience, salary history, and current postal pay policies. We offer
