TITLE:   BUSINESS PARTNER ACCOUNT MANAGER

The United States Postal Service has the following excellent and challenging employment opportunity for highly motivated and innovative individuals to work in our SALES office in OMAHA, NE. Successful candidates must demonstrate through a combination of education, training, and experience the following requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Ability to use the Sales Management Process, market research and sales strategies to identify customer potential and business needs of assigned accounts and sales leads.
  2. Knowledge of Postal products, services and applications sufficient to develop business solutions, resulting in new revenue.
  3. Ability to use a customer relationship management system to track sales activity, and account performance of assigned portfolio for territory management, revenue retention and growth.
  4. Ability to participate in cross-functional teams to meet U S Postal and customer needs.
  5. Ability to use market and customer research to develop sales proposals, budget forecasts, and growth potential and customer revenue projections.
  6. Ability to establish and maintain multiple customer relationships at key decision making levels to ensure USPS is a trusted business partner.
  7. Ability to implement business partner portfolio plans and analyze assigned portfolio financial information/reports to meet sales budgets and customer satisfaction (Channel Effectiveness Index) targets.
  8. Ability to communicate orally at a level sufficient to make effective sales presentations.
  9. Ability to develop strategic business plans designed to exceed organizational revenue and performance goals.
 
NOTE(S):
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in commercial, business to business, sales with large businesses and organizations. The Business Partner Account Manager will manage the deployment of sales strategies with a territory worth a minimum of $500 million dollars. The Business Partner Account Manager will manage a portfolio of Business Partner Accounts to achieve revenue growth and influence strategic direction within business partner accounts.

The salary range is $44,769 - $75,502. Salary will be based on previous experience, salary history, and current postal pay policies.
