690 Inventions and Patents
It is a policy of the Postal Service to encourage and stimulate the inventive
talents of employees and to determine equitably the respective rights of the
inventor and the Postal Service.
These regulations are issued pursuant to the authority of 39 U.S.C. 401, and
they supersede and replace all previous rules and regulations relating to this
subject.
