Everett Post Office invites customers to ‘eBay Days’ classes on Saturday, May 17
EVERETT — The Everett Post Office invites current and interested eBay users to attend a free “eBay Days” informational session on Saturday, May 17th. Two events will be held at the Everett PUD auditorium, 2320 California Street, one from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and another from 2:30 to 4:30. Space is limited to 275 people per class.
To reserve a spot send an email to: seattlesmallbiz@usps.gov with contact information and the preferred class time.
Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of the class as all reservations will be given away after that.
A postal representative who is a Certified eBay Education Specialist trained by eBay will give a valuable two-hour instructional class on how to sell eBay covering — item research, pricing, effective title and description, basic picture do’s and don’ts, following up with a sale, online security and how to safely pack and ship with the Postal Service
Handouts will be given covering how to print mailing labels with postage; how to request package pickups without ever leaving your home or office and other online services provided through USPS.com.
There are over 240 million registered eBay users. About 75 percent of them use the U.S. Postal Service for their everyday eBay shipping needs.
The U.S. Postal Service began a partnership with eBay in 2003. In 2004, the Postal Service and eBay launched an integrated mailing program. This mailing program allows buyers and sellers to calculate postage, print labels and purchase postage, pay for insurance and request a carrier pickup from the convenience of their “My eBay” web page.
Whether you are now a regular eBay user or just interested in finding more about how to use the Postal Service to mail more efficiently and conveniently, this eBay event will be of benefit to all postal customers
NOTE TO EDITORS: The news media is invited to attend either session at any time.
