Contract Postal Unit opens in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — The U.S. Postal Service is pleased to announce the recent opening of a new Contract Postal Unit at SHOPGIRLS BY THE BAY, 1117 Water Street in Port Townsend. The phone number is (360) 385-2868 and the hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

“The addition of this new station is great news and provides another location for serving the community of Port Townsend,” said U.S. Postal Spokesperson Ernie Swanson. “We are delighted that SHOPGIRLS has opened this station and look forward to working with them.”

The U.S. Postal Service office at the Customs House at 1322 Washington Street will continue its normal hours of operation, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
