Breast Cancer Awareness Day at the Rochester Post Office

What:
The Rochester VT Post Office will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Day

Who:
Jane Harness, Breast Care Coordinator at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph will have a table set up with information on breast cancer and early detection.

When:
Breast Care Awareness Day will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Jane Harness will be there from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m.

Background:
October is National Breast Care Awareness Month and the Rochester VT Post Office will offer pink punch, pink cookies to all who stop in.

This event will allow interested parties to speak with Breast Care Coordinator Jane Harness and receive important information on the need for early detection.

Since 1998 when the Breast Cancer Research stamp was first released, 750 million were sold, raising $55 million for Breast Cancer Research. These stamps, a great opportunity for area residents help fund the fight to find a cure, will be available for the current price of 55-cents.
