Postal Service to Conduct Emergency Preparedness Drill at Montrose Heights Post Office

This is Only a Drill

RICHMOND — The U.S. Postal Service, in cooperation with local first responders, will conduct an emergency response exercise as part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard communities, employees and test its emergency preparedness plans.

The response exercise will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15 at the Montrose Heights Branch Post Office located at 5300 Klockner Drive, Richmond, VA. The exercise will include participation from the Henrico County Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the U.S. Postal Service Inspection Service and the Richmond District Postal Service Emergency Management Team.

The Montrose Heights Postal facility will be accessible to postal customers during the exercise.

The exercise is only a drill.
