Fort Worth Post Office Announces Special Holiday Hours

Full Postal Service Resumes Friday, December 26

FORT WORTH, TX — Postmaster Michael Holder today announced special holiday hours for the Christmas Holidays.  Most Fort Worth Post Offices will close at noon on December 24 and be closed all day on Christmas Day, December 25.  Two post offices will be open for normal business hours on December 24 as follows:

Jack D. Watson at 4600 Mark IV Pkwy, Fort Worth, TX 76161. Hours of service are: 8:00AM-6:00PM
Downtown Station at 251 W. Lancaster, Fort Worth, TX 76102. Hours of service are: 8:30AM-6:00PM

All remaining post offices will close at noon on Wednesday, December 24, 2008. The Central Station located in the Federal Building at 819 Taylor Street will close at 1:00PM and will remain closed until Monday, December 29, 2008.

Automated Postal Centers will be available for 24 hour service at:

Additionally, a variety of services are available, including package pick up and ordering stamps is available online at www.usps.com.

Regular Post Office retail hours of operation will resume on Friday, December 26.
