Construction Underway For New Buda Post Office Facility

BUDA, TX— The U.S. Postal Service® has begun construction of a new Post Office™ building to better serve customers in Buda.  In September a contract was awarded to KW Construction of San Marcos, TX to build the new facility, Postmaster Frank A. Cadena said.

The new Post Office will have approximately 6,475 net interior square feet of floor space and will be located on an approximate 3.3-acre track of land located on the west side of Cabela's Drive, on the south side of Main Street.

The building is expected to be completed and in full operation by this time next year.
