Grand Opening Celebration for Langham Creek Ace CPU on May 21
Expands Retail Services for Postal Customers in the FM 529 area

Offers a Wide Range of Postal Products and Services at Post Office Prices

Houston, TX — Products and services offered by the U.S. Postal Service are now easier than ever for postal customers in the FM 529 W. and Barker Cypress Road area to access through the opening of a Contract Post Office (CPU) located within Langham Creek Ace Hardware store at 18020 FM 529 in Cypress, TX (77433-1168).

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place at 11 a.m., and a Grand Opening Celebration will be held form 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21 to officially open the Langham Creek Ace CPU. Chuck O’Malley, Cnos Enterprises Inc.; Paula Harvey, Director, Cyfair Chamber of Commerce; and Keith Parmely, Houston District Marketing Manager, U.S. Postal Service; are scheduled to attend.

Located 7 miles south of the Cypress Post Office, the Contract Postal Unit within Langham Creek Ace offers postal customers an additional option to access postal products and services, and is a Quick, Easy, and Convenient alternative to the local Post Office for retail transactions. The Langham Creek Ace CPU is open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday.

What’s a CPU? It’s a Contract Postal Unit located inside a retail establishment and run by the retailer’s employees. These in-store CPUs offer a wide range of U.S. Postal Service products and services at the same prices found in traditional Post Offices. More than 5,000 retailers have taken advantage of this opportunity.
