Grand Opening Celebration for IFFI Stop CPU on Feb. 15 Expands Retail Services for Conroe Postal Customers

Offers a Wide Range of Postal Products and Services at Post Office Prices

Houston, TX — Products and services offered by the U.S. Postal Service are now easier than ever for postal customers in the Conroe area to access through the opening of a Contract Post Office (CPU) located within Iffi Stop Food Market at 9146 Needham Road (Highway 22 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15 to officially open the Iffi Stop CPU. Mario Martinez, Postmaster for Conroe; and Shmarilyn Lott, Retail Specialist for the Houston District are scheduled to attend.

Located 8 miles south of the Conroe Post Office near IH 45., the Contract Postal Unit within Iffi Stop offers postal customers an additional option to access postal products and services, and is a Quick, Easy, and Convenient alternative to the Conroe Post Office for retail transactions. The Iffi Stop CPU is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday – Friday, and from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday.

What’s a CPU? It’s a Contract Postal Unit located inside a retail establishment and run by the retailer’s employees. These in-store CPUs offer a wide range of U.S. Postal Service products and services at the same prices found in traditional Post Offices. More than 5,000 retailers have taken advantage of this opportunity.
