Harrison Post Office to be Re-Named in honor of Hamilton County Mayor

Background:
Legislation to designate the Harrison Post Office in honor of Claude Ramsey was sponsored in the House of Representatives by U.S. Rep. Zach Wamp, who will participate in the Nov. 21 ceremony. The bill was signed by President George Bushon August 9.
Wamp says that Ramsey continues to set a high standard as a dedicated manager and leader in the community. The Hamilton County Mayor has worked to strengthen public education in the county, in addition to promoting economic development.
