A resident of nearby Waxhaw, NC, Roberts has acquired extensive knowledge and
experience having worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 18 years. He was
responsible for managing over 1,000 employees as the former Manager, Customer
Service Operations in Charlotte, NC. Being responsible for the 66 employees at the
Lancaster Post Office is a welcome change, although none the less important and
challenging.
Refreshments are available in the retail lobby after the ceremony.

It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to cover its operating expenses. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $73 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
