Springdale Post Office Renaming Ceremony

Post Office to be renamed in honor of renowned environmentalist, author and Springdale native Rachel Carson

SPRINGDALE – Officials from the U.S. Postal Service and Congressman Jason Altmire of the 4th District of Pennsylvania will host a ceremony renaming the Springdale Post Office after renowned ecologist and published author Rachel Louise Carson.  Congressman Altmire authored legislation renaming the Springdale Post Office after Rachel Louise Carson that was signed into law last August. The brief ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 27 at 11 a.m., at the Springdale Post Office.
