Bridgeville Letter Carrier awarded membership in National Safety Council’s
“Million Mile Club”
Presentation to be made for driving 30 years without an accident
What:
Letter Carrier Gary Molinero will be inducted into the prestigious National Safety Council’s “Million Mile Club” for thirty years of accident-free driving on the job. Molinero has driven 30 years without a preventable motor vehicle accident qualifying him for the distinguished driver award.
Molinaro will receive his Million Mile Club plaque from the Pittsburgh District Manager in a brief ceremony among his coworkers. To be qualified, for Million Mile Club status, a professional driver must have driven accident-free for either 30 years or a million miles. Molinaro has been employed by the USPS since 1978 and has been a letter carrier since 1979.
“Gary is an outstanding Letter Carrier in every aspect of this very demanding position,” said Bridgeville Postmaster David Rupinsky. “The Postal Service has always emphasized safe driving practices. Gary is very conscientious, his leadership and accomplishments are a great example for every member of our workforce.”
