Kim AndersonKim Anderson has been selected as USPS Portland District Manager, USPS Western Area Vice President Sylvester Black has announced.

In his new position, Anderson oversees all Postal Service operations in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

“I feel privileged to be a part of the success that the Postal Service has achieved in the Portland District,” Anderson said. “I sincerely appreciate the leadership and dedication to service that I continue to see demonstrated by our employees every day and know I can count on that pride in service to continue as we move into the future.”

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
