Holiday Happening at the Ava Post Office

Public Invited to Attend Holiday Mailing Presentation

Columbus — Christmas is just around the corner and the United States Postal Service would like to help deliver your holiday greetings.  For computer savvy customers, usps.com and CLICK-N-SHIP are websites with a wealth of information for all your mailing requirements.  If you prefer, a visit to your local Post Office will also provide you with free priority mailing supplies, reasonably priced Ready Post mailing supplies such as large envelopes, padded bags, and DVD mailers, and answers to your mailing questions.  The Ava Post Office, located at 50614 State Route 821, will be hosting a “Holiday Happening” on December 1st and 2nd to assist customers with all of their holiday mailing needs. Office hours are 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Refreshments will be served

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
