Post Office hours announced for the day after Thanksgiving

Many Postal Service Facilities will close early on Friday, Nov. 28

COLUMBUS, OH —Many, but not all, Central and Southeastern Ohio Post Offices, stations and branches will close early at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 the day after the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.  The offices that will close at 2:00 p.m. on that day include facilities in the 430, 431, 433, 437, 438, 456 and 457 ZIP Codes.  Advanced signage notifying the public about the change in operating hours will be posted in affected facilities

All Postal Service facilities with ZIP Codes beginning with 432 will close at 12:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 the day after the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.  The Port Columbus Station, 4299 Sawyer Rd., at the Columbus International Airport will close at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 the day after the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. These offices will also have signage about the early closure hours.

Normal Post Office Box services will be provided at all locations on that day, Nov. 28, 2008.  Regular business hours at all locations will resume on Saturday, Nov. 29.  For more information on available services, go to www.usps.com.
