Chandlersville Post Office Saturday Hours

Changes in Operating Hours Announced

Chandlersville— Postmaster Pam Nunley announces that effective October 1, 2008, Saturday retail hours at the Post Office changed.  The new hours on Saturdays at the Chandlersville Post Office are from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.  The Monday through Friday hours remain the same from 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch from 11:30am-1:00pm) at its location at 8875 Chandlersville Rd., Chandlersville, OH  43727.

“These changes are being made to make sure we are operating most efficiently when we have the most customer traffic,” said Nunley.  “Post Office hours may periodically change based on customer traffic or customer need.”  Retail traffic patterns are regularly evaluated to ensure Post Offices are open when most needed and to balance limited Postal Service resources throughout the area.

The Postmaster says the Postal Service has gone to great lengths to meet customer demand for electronic options.  Its website at www.usps.com is visited by more than one million people each day and many services are available there on a 24-hour basis, such as purchasing stamps, printing a mailing label, paying for postage, confirming delivery or arranging for a package pickup at the home or office at no extra charge.  The Postmaster can be reached at 740-674-6117.

Stamps can also be purchased by using Stamps by Mail, phone or fax.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
