Englewood Post Office to Change Hours of Operation

Adjusted hours more in line with customer needs

CINCINNATI, OH — The Englewood Post Office, located at 116 W. National Rd.., (45322), will change its weekday operating hours starting June 7, says Postmaster Michael Wheeler.  Saturday operating hours will remain the same.

“It’s an effort to align our operating hours to best meet the needs of our customers,” Wheeler said.

New hours of operation for the Post Office are:

Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.—Sat. 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Previously, the Post Office opened at 7:30 a.m. and closed at 4:30 p.m. during the week.

In addition, the Post Office has an Automated Postal Center available on a 24-hour basis which customers can use to buy stamps or mail packages anywhere in the U.S. using a credit or debit card.

The postmaster added that many services are available on a 24-hour basis by going online to usps.com. Users can buy stamps, print mailing labels, pay for postage, confirm delivery or arrange for a package pick up at the home or office at no extra charge.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
