Mailboxes to be sealed for Brooklyn Bridge celebration

New York, N.Y. — In the interest of security and public safety, postal officials will seal mail collection boxes at select Manhattan locations for the 125th anniversary celebration of the Brooklyn Bridge. The mail boxes will be sealed after the first collection on Thursday, May 22 and reopened on Tuesday, May 27. All other collection boxes and schedules remain unaffected.
