Post Offices With Extended Hours on “Tax Night”
Mail Those Tax Forms Early and Beat the Rush!
ROCHESTER, NY — With the deadline for filing tax returns rapidly approaching, the United States Postal Service is prepared to serve last-minute filers at a number of Post Offices in the Rochester area.
The following retail collection points are available for tax filers on Tuesday, April 15:

- Rochester Main Office, 1335 Jefferson Rd, Rochester, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 9 p.m. Stamp vending machines and April 15th postmarks will be available at the Saginaw Road entrance until midnight.
- Brighton Station, 130 Winton Rd N, Rochester, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.
- Fairport Post Office, Retail Unit, 6740 Pittsford Palmyra Rd, Fairport, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.
- Greece Branch, 3245 Latta Rd, Rochester, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.
- Irondequoit Branch, 425 Ridge Rd E, Rochester, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.
- Penfield Post Office, 2080 Fairport Nine Mile Pt Rd, Penfield, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 6 p.m. only.
- Pittsford Post Office, 5607 Palmyra Rd, Pittsford, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.
- Webster Post Office, 75 Barrett Dr, Webster, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.
- Westgate Branch, 1485 Howard Rd, Rochester, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.

Please remember that mail must be deposited before the last collection time at the post office, APC or collection box on April 15th to receive the required April 15th postmark.
