Post Offices With Extended Hours on “Tax Night”
Mail Those Tax Forms Early and Beat the Rush!
BUFFALO, NY — With the deadline for filing tax returns rapidly approaching, the United States Postal Service is prepared to serve last-minute filers at a number of Post Offices in the Buffalo area.
The following retail collection points are available for tax filers on Tuesday, April 15:
140 - 143 ZIP Codes
- Buffalo Main Office Windows, 1200 William St, Buffalo, full retail service until 6 p.m., and stamp vending machines and April 15th postmark will be available in the outer lobby until midnight.
- Buffalo Cayuga Branch Post Office, 285 Cayuga Rd, Cheektowaga, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until midnight only.
- Amherst Branch, 5500 N. Bailey Ave, Amherst, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.
- Williamsville Postal Store, 5423 Sheridan Dr, Williamsville, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.
- East Aurora Post Office, 408 Quaker Rd, East Aurora, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 6 p.m. only.
- Hamburg Post Office, 5501 Camp Rd, Hamburg, full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 6 p.m. only.
- LaSalle Branch, 9860 Niagara Falls Blvd, Niagara Falls full retail service and April 15th postmark available until 7 p.m. only.

Please remember that mail must be deposited before the last collection time at the post office, APC or collection box on April 15th to receive an April 15th postmark.
