Background:
May starts the wedding season. The time to think about Postal Service prices and mailing requirements is when wedding planners are designing the wedding invitation and other wedding mail pieces. Can the address fonts be read on postal equipment? What about the weight and shape of the invitation? Does it need to be hand-cancelled? What about stamps?

Postal Service mail design specialists will demonstrate the top ten red carpet mailing tips that can help wedding planners, design consultants, and the bride and groom save time and money and have some fun, too.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a sample of their invitation for review.

Postal representatives will demonstrate how to design your own stamp (personalized postage), and how to design the wedding invitation and other mailings online.

Free Priority Mail boxes custom-designed for the Bridal gown and Tux (while supplies last.)

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
