Mailboxes to be sealed for parade
NEW YORK, N.Y. — In the interest of security and safety, postal officials will seal blue mail collection boxes at select Manhattan locations for the 29th annual Turkish Day Parade. The mailboxes will be sealed after the last pick-up of mail on Friday, May 22 and re-opened on the morning of Tuesday, May 26. All other collection boxes and schedules remain unaffected.
