Postal Service Provides Passport Services At Clark County Fair

LAS VEGAS, NV – If you are planning to travel outside of the United States, your first trip should be to a Passport Fair.

Effective June 1, 2009 either a passport book or passport card will be required for all travel to and from the Untied States including the Caribbean, Bermuda, Mexico and Canada.

The U.S. Postal Service will host a Passport Fair during the Clark County Fair in Logandale, NV April 9 – 12. Postal employees will be on hand at the Postal Service booth in the commercial tent on the south side of the fair grounds and will provide all the necessary assistance, including applications, photos and mailing services.

Passport availability is open to any citizen who meets the following requirements:

Proof of U.S. Citizenship: (must submit one of these)

  • BIRTH CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE STATE
  • NATURALIZATION CERTIFICATE
  • PREVIOUS U.S. PASSPORT

Photo identification: (must submit one of these in addition to proof of U.S. Citizenship)

  • DRIVER’S LICENSE
  • STATE I.D OR FEDERAL-GOVERNMENT I.D

Regular service, passport will be received in 4–5 weeks

Expedited service, passport will be received in 2–3 weeks (additional fee required)
