Background:
The U.S. Postal Service will join with community leaders for a grand opening ceremony of the new state-of-the-art passport processing center in Clifton. Maria Morse, District Manager for the Northern New Jersey area of the United States Postal Service will be on hand to cut the ribbon in celebration of this customer service center which can process passports 7 days a week. Joining her will be newly appointed Clifton Postmaster Mark Rizzolo, Carol Pierce Manager, Post Office Operations and Clifton’s Mayor, the Honorable James Anzaldi.
A first of its kind in New Jersey, this much anticipated passport processing center is solely dedicated to making the process of applying for a passport, quick, easy and convenient. The center will be open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and every weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:p.m. The Clifton passport processing center is located at 811 Paulison Avenue and walk-ins are always welcome.
