Modified Retail Hours For Many South Jersey Post Offices on 8/30/08

Bellmawr NJ—South Jersey Post Offices will be open Saturday, August 30, but many will shorten lobby hours. Regular mail delivery for August 30 will be unaffected by the change.

In observance of the Labor Day weekend, many businesses modify operations and the number of customers visiting Post Office lobbies greatly diminishes. As such, Post Offices in some locations will close retail operations early August 30.

Because some local closing times could vary, customers are encouraged to check with their local Post Office for the exact closing time. Revised hours will be posted at each Post Office. To obtain the phone number of a specific Post Office, customers may call 1-800-ASK-USPS. Commercial customers are asked to check with their Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit for August 30 hours of operation.
