Central NJ Post Offices hosting Passport Fairs

Central NJ — To make it easier to apply for a passport, select Central New Post Offices are hosting Passport Fairs on the weekend of January 26-27. The Post Office Passport Fairs will feature additional personnel to accommodate customers applying for passports. Postal officials advise walk-ins are welcome, but recommend calling ahead for an appointment.

The Postal Service offers these helpful tips for applying for a passport:

  • Fill out the passport application (DS11), before you come to the post office. You can download it from: http://travel.state.gov/download_applications.html
  • Bring proof of US citizenship with you and present proof of identity.
  • Provide 2 passport photos. (photo service available on-site for a fee)
  • Have all your documentation with you.
