Central New Jersey Post Offices Closed Jan. 19th
Only Express Mail to be delivered on federal holiday
Central, NJ - The Postal Service observes Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday on Monday, January 19, 2009 as a holiday. All post offices in the Central New Jersey area will be closed. There will be no mail delivery except for Express Mail.
For customer convenience, 21 Post Offices in the Central New Jersey area offer 24-hour access to Automated Postal Centers. “The APC provides quick, easy, and convenient access to postal services,” says District Manager/Executive-In-Charge, Vito Cetta. “Just as an ATM is a virtual stand-alone bank, the APC is a virtual stand-alone Post Office. But unlike the ATM, there’s no transaction fee.
