Campton Postmaster demonstrates benefits of usps.com®
CAMPTON NH—The Campton NH Postmaster, Kathy Adams, demonstrates to individual and business customers the use and benefits of the United States Postal Service website, usps.com. From the basic use of the site for appropriate postage for mailing a package, to locate the nearest passport acceptance office or to arrange for forwarding of your mail, to the benefits of the site for business success, Kathy will assist all interested on April 16, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Post Office at 11 Southmayd Street.
The Internet as a customer access channel has gone from zero in 1993 to 100 million customers per year. www.usps.com allows customers accessibility to a full range of information, products and services. This is a Post Office that never closes, with no crowds and no lines.
Over the years, the Postal Service has developed new products and services that are easily accessible—PC Postage®, Click-N-Ship®, Netpost® Cardstore, Delivery and Signature Confirmation to name a few. Adams said, “I invite everyone I meet in the Campton Post Office to visit the web site. On April 16, I plan to have refreshments for our customers and will have a computer hooked up in the lobby to gladly familiarize everyone with our usps.com website.”
