Post Office™ to extend hours
on Tax Night — April 15

MANCHESTER NH —For those last minute tax filers who want the comfort of handing their Federal Tax Return to a postal clerk; to see it hand cancelled and sent on its way, the Manchester Main Post Office, at 955 Goffs Falls Road, is extending lobby hours until 9:00 p.m. on tax night, April 15. The rest of the state’s post offices will be available to provide the same service during regular business hours. To locate a post office near you log on to www.usps.com.

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that reaches every address in the nation, 149 million residences, businesses and Post Office Boxes, six days a week. It has 34,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services, not tax dollars, to pay for operating expenses. Named the Most Trusted Government Agency five consecutive years by the Ponemon Institute, the Postal Service has annual revenue of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
