All Post Offices Open on July 3

But Many Closing at Noon

LINCOLN, Neb.—All Nebraska Post Offices, with the exception of the State House Post Office in Lincoln, will be open on Friday, July 3, but many will shorten retail lobby hours and close at noon. Regular mail delivery for July 3 will be unaffected by the change.

In Lincoln - Havelock, University Place and Woods Park stations will close at noon. The Main Office, College View Station, Gateway Station, and Indian Village Station will be open normal retail hours.

The July 3 hours of operation are:

College View 5100 Van Dorn St. 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Gateway 5945 R St. 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Havelock 6240 Platte Ave. 8:30 a.m. – noon
Indian Village 1201 Calvert 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Main Office 700 R St. 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
State House 301 Centennial Mall So. Closed
University Place 2427 N. 48th St. 8:30 a.m. – noon
Woods Park 110 N. 35th St. 8:30 a.m. – noon

Lincoln’s Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit the will be open their normal hours of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Customers may call 1-800-ASK-USPS for information about specific Post Offices outside of Lincoln. In addition, mail should be deposited into blue collection mailboxes by noon for early pick-up on July 3.

Post Offices will be closed Saturday, July 4. Sunday/Holiday Express Mail only will be delivered on the Fourth of July. All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Monday, July 6.
