eBay Day at Minot Post Office September 25

Learn to Use the Internet’s Greatest Sales Tool

MINOT, ND — It’s one of the greatest commercial phenomena in history, turning thousands of ordinary citizens into successful entrepreneurs. It’s eBay; and the opportunity to hop on the eBay bandwagon comes to north central North Dakota

eBay teams with the U.S. Postal Service in Minot to create an unique educational opportunity that provides online selling and shipping expertise to people who want in on the action. eBay sellers overwhelmingly use the Postal Service and its interactive website www.usps.com for their shipping needs.

“eBay Day” at the Minot Post Office is a hands-on grassroots effort to reach out to potential entrepreneurs and small businesses. Participants will learn how to start, expand and manage a successful online business; and how to take advantage of the tools and expertise available from eBay and the U.S. Postal Service. Participants will also receive a coupon from eBay good for three free listings.

When:
Thursday, Sept. 25
12:30-4:30 p.m.

Where:
Minot Post Office
117 5th St. SW

An independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that visits every address in the nation — 146 million homes and businesses. It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
