“Ed Sullivan Show” at Greensboro P.O. Friday
Openings still available for show performers!

Ed Sullivan Show

WHAT:
The U.S. Postal Service pays tribute to one of the great television shows in history with its version of “The Ed Sullivan Show,” part of the dedication of the new Early TV Memories commemorative postage stamps.

WHO:
Greensboro Station Manager Gary Eubanks will serve as the “host” for a local talent/variety show, open to all members of the Triad. Postmaster Ronnie White will preside over the dedication, as well as the presentation of prizes to the top two performers.

Friday, September 4, 2009 @ 11 am

TAKE NOTE:
Performers who want to participate should call the Postmaster, 336-370-4693. Acts should be no longer than three minutes. The new stamps recognize such shows as I Love Lucy; Lassie; The Lone Ranger; Texaco Star Theater; and 16 more classic shows. This event is free and open to the public.
