GRAHAM – Albert Reeder, a city letter carrier at Graham Post Office and 34-year veteran of the Postal Service, was recently inducted into the National Safety Council’s Million Mile Club. The honor is earned by professional drivers in any workplace, private or public sector, who drives for at least 30 years on the job without a preventable motor vehicle accident. Gann, a Haw River resident, received the award at a ceremony in front of his peers from Graham Postmaster Andre Jones and Greensboro District Manager Russ Gardner. According to the NSC, the Million Mile status is to professional driving as reaching the peak of Mt. Everest is to the sport of climbing.
