Great Falls Main Post Office offering FREE ‘eBay Day’ mailing demonstrations Wednesday & Thursday, November 7 & 8

GREAT FALLS, MT — The United States Postal Service and eBay have partnered to offer an integrated shipping program that greatly saves on postage and convenience and that provides added security. It allows buyers and sellers the opportunity to calculate postage, print labels, pay for insurance, and request FREE package pickup directly from their ‘My eBay’ web page.

The Great Falls Post Office is offering FREE eBay/USPS informational demonstrations to anyone interested in finding out how to use eBay for the first time. These sessions will be offered on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, November 7th at 9:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m.
at the Great Falls Post Office  Mail Processing Facility Conference Room
1409 14th St. SW

The demonstrations will cover eBay buying and selling, information on using Click-N-Ship, Carrier Pickup and other postal services. Postal staff will provide valuable instruction and eBay training. Each demonstration has space for 40 people. Pre-registration is not required, but is encouraged for the 2 hour demonstration. The instructor will assist participants in creating their own eBay accounts.

“Whether you are a regular eBay user or just interested in finding out about how to use USPS to mail more efficiently and conveniently, our FREE eBay Day Great Falls event will be of great benefit to all Montana postal customers,” says Jacque Stingley, Customer Relations Coordinator with the Great Falls Post Office.

It has 37,000 retail locations and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to pay for operating expenses, not tax dollars. The Postal Service has annual revenues of $75 billion and delivers nearly half the world’s mail.
